The Irish Times in Simonshofen

Absolutely shocking to see how far journalistic standards have fallen for this once most highly respected newspaper. It has become an ultra far left leaning source of propaganda. The bare bones of important stories both nationally and internationally are laid out, but then colored in with complete distortion . The editor , Fintan O Toole , writes some extremely off the wall articles which are hysterical to read. The only problem is that they would for be funny to read, but is very serious situation considering the media is the forth pillar of a healthy democratic society. I cannot see it remaining in existence for much longer, many many of its readers have abandoned it over the last decade and I would bet it will become insolvent fairly soon..Avoid this fake news website, unless you are happy to accept a distorted view of reality. .

Poor publication.

Shocking customer service. Paper not delivered. Delivery promised. Not received. On line service not available last month. When queried I was told it was a computer error? Fed up having to ring I.T. No problem with computer taking my payments.

No delivery for two weeks no reply to email. Phone answered by machine. No customer service.Elaine.

Their paper delivery service is shambolic. Delivery to address in Dartry is patchy, intermittent and left wet at the gate. This isn't cheap so would expect refund which was refused. Don't bother with delivery it doesn't work.

Need to do some fact checking, often highly inaccurate. Seems to focus more on catchy headlines than the real story

Disappointing communication and not my kind of journalism or customer service

Maybe research animal agriculture before writing an article and only getting the IFA’s side.. because ya know, they might be biased because they make money off of the animals they breed, kill and sell.

FAO Mark Hederman, enjoyed your article in the Weekend and the photo of Pope In 1979. the Pope donated the Popemoble to the Waxworks in Parnell Square where I sent visitors to see this iconic piece. imagine my horror when I visited the new Waxworks in College Green to find that they decided they" didn't have room for this Popemoble so sold it to a fellow down south"! Maybe you could find it and bring it back from obscourity

Dont read news.

Ireland's newspaper of record. Declining in quality lately as they seem to have dispensed with sub-editor, its typos are becoming as frequent as those in The Grauniad. Still got some excellent columnists (Fintan O'Toole, Michael Harding, Miriam Lord). And some others. Extensive online edition. Pay wall limits you to 10 articles a week without a sub. Unless you delete cookies or go incognito mode.
